How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

I went to the first social during my sophomore year for the free popsicles, and I decided to join because all of the members were very welcoming. They were happy to talk with me and offer advice.

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally? 

AIChE has provided me opportunities to connect with other chemical engineering students. Having friends who are in the same major means there are people I can go to for coursework help, and of course, it's much more fun to go to my classes when I get to see my friends. :D

What's one interesting fact about you?

I like to collect bones!

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why? 

I would bring a journal. Being able to write down my thoughts and feelings would prevent me from going too bonkers.

If you could watch one show the rest of your life, what would it be? 

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I would choose Parks and Recreation because it's a lighthearted show with good character dynamics.
