How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

I first heard about AIChE during freshman orientation. The people associated with it were very fun and positive which in turn made me want to join. Plus it feels like AIChE is a great way to get started in Chemical Engineering and meeting other chemical engineers.

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally?

Being in AIChE has already helped me grow professionally as it has helped me get interview experience. This club has such a welcoming environment that has made me feel safe to express myself, so personally I've been able to grow my social skills by meeting all the other members.

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why?

My phone. Even if I don't have signal I can still enjoy alone time listening to My Chemical Romance until it dies... or I die.

If you could watch one show the rest of your life, what would it be?

Probably Malcolm in the Middle.
