How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

In freshman year, I heard about the opportunities for employment, professional development, networking, and friendship building that AIChE offered and knew I had to join.

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally?

AIChE has offered me many opportunities to connect with industry, meet new people and make friends, get advice from more experienced students, and learn more about chemical engineering in general. I had a lot of great experiences and found many internship opportunities that I wouldn't have encountered otherwise.

What's one interesting fact about you?

I can play the guitar, piano, and a little bit of ukulele.
 

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why?

A good book on existentialism. I love philosophy and a deserted island would be the perfect opportunity to muse about life.
