How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

I learned about AICHE through my classes and professor recommendations. As a new student I thought it would be a great opportunity to get involved in the community and meet peers in my major.

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally?

I've been able to grow outside of my comfort zone by challenging myself to meet new people and participate in socials I wouldn't have before AICHE. Events such as the NWI have helped me build professional confidence with talking to recruiters and representative.

What's one interesting fact about you? 

I believe Christmas season starts the Friday after Thanksgiving.

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why?

I'd bring sunscreen. I don't want to be burnt in paradise.

If you could watch one show the rest of your life, what would it be?

I'd watch How I Met Your Mother. It was a great show until the last episode, but the disappointment from the finale will make me want to watch everything again. I'll comfort myself when the gang was all together and happy.
