How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

I learned about AIChE through orientation and from Chemical Engineering Alumni that were apart of AIChE during their time in college. The people and events associated with AIChE seemed like a good opportunity to meet fellow Chemical Engineers while also having fun.

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally?

AIChE has helped me develop important skills, like learning how to communicate professionally and how to break out of my comfort zone. The people and environment were very welcoming so it was easy to develop my social skills and learn more about what I want to do after I graduate.

What's one interesting fact about you?

I'm good at trading card games/collectible card games. I was top 600 in North America in Hearthstone, an online digital card game, at one point. My favorite class is Druid and my favorite card voice line is "SMALL IN SIZE, HUGE IN EVIL" - Tiny Knight of Evil.

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why? 

My stuffed animals to keep me company.
