How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

I first heard about AIChE from the school's orientation/major programming. However, I learned more about club events and the freshman rep position through my ECH80 course.

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally?

AIChE has helped me connect with people who are passionate about (bio)chemical engineering - from this I have gained a better understanding of chemical engineering as a whole. Likewise, the club has given me the opportunity to work with my peers in a group setting.

What's one interesting fact about you? 

Aside from enjoying chemistry, I like skateboarding and surfing. I also want to learn how to snowboard soon.

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why?

I would bring a surfboard (if sharks don't exist around this hypothetical island) to keep myself busy.

If you could watch one show the rest of your life, what would it be?

I would watch Adventure Time, as there are 10 seasons (so there's enough variation to keep me entertained for a while) and it's a staple of 2010s television.
