How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

I heard about AIChe at my community college from my materials science professor and that grew my interest with the organization. He told me about all the cool things that AIChe did like Chem E car, and I knew I had to be a part of the group.

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally?

AIChe has allowed me to connect with professionals in the industry and has allowed me to find out more about the work chemical engineers really do. It has also allowed me to make new friends and meet new people in this uncertain time of Covid. 

What's one interesting fact about you? 

One interesting fact is that I have my own band. We are called A Sombre Dream. 

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why?

If I could bring one item it would be my guitar. If I'm stuck doing nothing might as well write some music while I am at it.
