How did you learn about AIChE and why did you join?

I first heard about AIChE when I went to Decision Day as a high school senior! I joined because I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any opportunities that could further my education or grant me workplace/internship experience. 

How has AIChE helped you grow professionally and/or personally?

AIChE has shown me the diversity of career options that I have as a chemical engineer and helped me realize that I truly can do anything with my future. I've learned a lot about different careers one can have in industry, and that there is no singular correct career path to take.

What's one interesting fact about you? 

An interesting fact about me is that I'm a Community Advisor this year!

If you could bring one item with you to a deserted island (aside from food and water), what would it be and why?

If I could bring one thing to a deserted island it would have to be Cheeto the physics cat because he is the light of UC Davis :)
